The final round of the NE Junior Challenge was contested by 28 juniors in lovely sunny weather at the Jubilee Golf Club today. NEDGA has developed this new initiative for 2024 to encourage Juniors around the district to play inter club competitions and hopefully develop new friendships along the way. We hope to develop this comp further in the years ahead and would welcome participation of all NE clubs that have junior players.
The finals were played over 3 grades, the Midgets played a 6 hole comp, the Tweens played 9 holes and the Rookies played off over 18 holes. The top 5 scores from the Rookies and Tweens qualify for free entry to the NEDGA Junior Tournament at Wangaratta GC on Sunday 24th November 2024
