The NEDGA Women played two really interesting courses in Trafalgar and Traralgon for the country teams matches. All 7 players aquitted themselves with determination and with good sportsmanship. Their first round against Murray Darling, went down to the wire, but the NEDGA girls were delighted to come away with the win 4/3. The next round was against the very tough adversaries in Golf Peninsula. Despite most matches going through to the last couple of holes, we unfortunately were beaten 7/0. On the second day, there were again some very close matches on the very picturesque but tough Traralgon course. We were eventually beaten by Goulburn Murray 5.5 to 1.5. All our north east girls put in fantastic efforts against players of generally much lower handicaps and they all found the event to offer them a great learning experience and a lot of fun.
